Australia’s Fastest Growing Region

Richmond-Tweed is No.1 for Lifestyle
The dream of living in a sleepy seaside village surrounded by nature and within proximity to city infrastructure has seen Northern Rivers NSW emerge as a post pandemic haven.
Migration to regional Australia last year surged to its highest point since records began two decades ago as locked down residents reassessed their location through a lifestyle lens.
Regions with lifestyle appeal were the biggest beneficiaries, with the most significant growth recorded in the the Richmond-Tweed market where the population has swollen by 20.7%.
Housing values have jumped accordingly, with Richmond-Tweed recording the greatest annual lift in values of all regional markets Australia-wide with gains of 21.9%.
The Richmond-Tweed region, also known as Northern Rivers NSW, takes in the Tweed, Byron, Ballina, Lismore and Kyogle local government areas.
Popularity does come at a price and for those looking to get a foothold into this beautiful region, high demand and low stock has made acquisition the key challenge.
Enquiry has been strong for a tightly-held estate in Tweed Heads West to be auctioned onsite by Kollosche this Sunday, 4 July, at 1pm.
Held by the same family for four generations, the 6,964m2 parcel hosts three original houses across two titles at 1 and 11 Lalina Avenue with 360-degree ocean to hinterland views.
The land is zoned for low density residential development with a minimum lot size of 450m2 and has the potential for subdivision subject to approvals.
The Lalina holding is being marketed by Kollosche’s residential and commercial teams who work closely to serve the needs of our clients, from home ownership through to investment.
Collaboration between our agents across the Gold Coast and down to Byron Bay is constantly creating opportunities to match clients to properties that best meet their needs.
