Commitment to Community
April 1 2025

As part of its mission for 2025, the Community Fund is ready to amplify its impact across the Gold Coast.
“While we’re immensely proud of what the Fund has been able to achieve, there’s always more work to be done and more lives to touch.”
A newly revitalised board brings together ten passionate team members from a cross-section of the business, including Sales, Property Management, New Projects, Finance, and People and Culture.
The level of experience, connections and care brought by this varied line-up will be instrumental in creating meaningful change in the lives of those who need it.
The Journey So Far
The Community Fund was established in 2021 after Kollosche agents voiced a shared desire to support the local communities in which they live and work.
A percentage of every sale goes into the Fund, where it is distributed to local recipients spanning grassroots charities, sporting clubs, aspiring athletes, and individuals in crisis.
Among Kollosche’s most significant contributions is its continued relationship with Gold Coast-based charity Serving Our People (SOP), which provides help to those facing hardship.
The Kollosche People’s Ball, an annual event held in partnership with SOP, has led to more than $2,000,000 being raised since its inaugural year in 2022.
Through its sponsorships, the Fund has been able to support local sporting and surf life saving clubs in providing a hub for physical wellbeing and community connection.
Its donations have reached those facing cancer, homelessness, domestic violence, barriers to education and much more – offering tangible support in difficult times.
Looking Ahead
While the Fund continues to serve as a vehicle for financial support, its vision continues to expand and evolve.
A strong focus has been placed on volunteering, leading staff to donate their time to support charitable initiatives.
This year, the new board aims to further build on Kollosche’s presence within the community by identifying opportunities in which agents and support staff can get involved, connect and provide meaningful physical aid.
From serving Christmas lunch to the homeless to packing essential items for mothers and their newborn babies, the team welcomes any chance to connect on a personal level with those in need.
In 2025, the board has also set itself a goal to increase the level of support it provides to those in crisis, in particular individuals who are in need of urgent aid due to unforeseen circumstances and emergencies.
Leading by Example
Increasingly, the Community Fund strives to inspire other local businesses and individuals to donate funds and time wherever possible.
Kollosche Managing Director Michael Kollosche actively connects like-minded businesses and philanthropists with the causes that need them most, encouraging collaboration on initiatives that uplift the community.
“While we’re immensely proud of what the Fund has been able to achieve, there’s always more work to be done and more lives to touch,” Michael says.
“As community leaders, it is our responsibility to set an example for other businesses and individuals to follow. Together, we can create a stronger, more connected and supportive community.”
With the backing of the entire Kollosche team and its revitalised board of passionate changemakers, the Community Fund is on track to make this its most impactful year yet – proving that when business meets purpose, lives can truly be changed.
