Community Spirit Thrives as New Initiatives Are Announced
September 3 2021
Contributing to a positive, prosperous community is very much at the heart of Kollosche’s ethos. Since the company’s inception, we have been privileged to contribute to a range of local partnerships and organisations that have positively impacted community members in need of our support.
At Kollosche, we aim to support the individuals, organisations, charities, and events within our community that really make a difference. So much so that Kollosche recently announced a Community Board.
The Community Board has been set up to manage the way we donate our time and sponsorship funding within the community to support as many groups as possible.
Our staff members with various skill sets make up the board and have a passion for the community and will meet fortnightly to discuss ongoing projects and developments in the community.
Giving back to our local community who support is one of our foundational values in our business”, says Michael Kollosche. “Sometimes even a small level of funding or donation of time delivers a life-changing moment for someone else, and we will be delivering more of these moments within our community.”
In addition to the recently formed board, Kollosche is proud to announce the partnership with Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club as a major sponsor to support the club and nippers program for the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons.
Michael Kollosche commented on the recent sponsorship, “Our work in the community and supporting local services and organisations remains at the heart of the Kollosche team.
“This partnership ensures we can support further the work of the volunteers who keep our beaches and our families safe.”
This partnership joins the existing support we provide to Broadbeach Soccer Club as major sponsors and Serving Our People charity organisation which provides much-needed support to local families with food and delivery services.
It is not only the financial investment but also through the efforts of our staff and leadership team that enable Kollosche to make a difference in our community.
Over to sales this week, and Spring is shaping up to be a bumper season. However, while we are seeing a surge in interstate enquiries and transactions, we also see interested cashed-up locals wanting to cut out the competition.
In an auction at 35 Allandale Entrance, Mermaid Waters, nine out of the 12 bidders were local. The final bid to trump the competition was well above reserve, securing the home for $2,205,000. It was a quick campaign auction with 126 enquiries in three weeks and a fantastic result for agent Jamie Harrison and his team.
Being in lockdown in New South Wales was no deterrent for a virtual facetime deal sealed in just one week for a beachfront New Brighton property.
Agents Karin Heller and Kim Jones commented that they had over 200 enquiries and narrowed the pool to 15 committed quality buyers, with the final price reaching $3,820,000 – a new record for New Brighton.
