Hundreds of onlookers turned out for the highly anticipated auction of Burleigh Waters show-stopper Ruin X last Sunday which culminated in a $2,713,888 sale.

Eoghan Murphy and Michael Kollosche handled lengthy negotiations with two phone bidders, both from Melbourne, to achieve a record result for the owners of 31 Beaconsfield Drive.

The sale price is almost double the highest previous price paid on the family-friendly street, as high end renovations and new builds continue to raise values in the area.

Also on Sunday, Kollosche’s Jamie Harrison and Corey Bedford achieved a stellar result under the hammer on 1 Cypress Drive, Broadbeach Waters.

Three early offers weren’t enough to stop the onsite auction where an overseas buyer beat off stiff competition from five other bidders to seal the deal at $2,500,00
