Last-minute Sale Ends the Financial Year
July 7 2023
The sale of an architect-designed hinterland hideaway has closed out the 2022-23 financial year for Kollosche.
Negotiations for 7 Cliff Way, Mount Tamborine, went down to the wire, with sales agent Kara Christensen sealing a $1,750,000 unconditional offer on the property in the late hours of June 30.
The well-presented family home on acreage drew 8,000 online views, 62 enquiries, 21 inspections and several written offers during its marketing campaign, with the property selling to a local couple.
The deal wraps up more than $1.65 billion in sales achieved by Kollosche agents for their clients throughout the 2022-23 financial year.
A focus on comprehensive marketing and strategic sales campaigns resulted in some successful results for Kollosche across the year.
This was despite relentless interest rate rises having a negative impact on the wider market. The Reserve Bank brought some reprieve to homeowners with its decision to keep the cash rate at 4.1 per cent for July.
Some 2022-23 highlights include the sale of 143-145 Hedges Avenue and 133 Hedges Avenue in blue-chip suburb Mermaid Beach, for $19,200,00 and $17,500,00 respectively.
Kollosche sales agents Michael Kollosche and Harry Kakavas were behind the two deals, the year’s biggest for the agency, with Danny Stanley also playing a key role in the 133 Hedges sale.
The trio also managed to take out the top established apartment sale for 2022-23, in Sunland’s landmark ‘272 Hedges Avenue’ building in Mermaid Beach, with a two-level sky home changing hands for $12,000,000.
