Luxury Waterfront Apartments a First for Sovereign Islands
January 12 2021
The exclusive Sovereign Islands enclave is set to get its first taste of low-maintenance luxury living with the release of the community’s first designer waterfront apartment project.
Launched in the lead up to Christmas, The Residences on Royal Albert offers a unique collection of just eight waterfront apartments, each with its own marina berth, across 15-19 Royal Albert Crescent.
News of the project has been extremely well-received, according to Kollosche’s New Projects specialist Simon Worthington who is handling the marketing on behalf of SHO Developments.
“Engagement during the early stages of launch has been very promising,” Mr Worthington said.
“As the first of its kind on Sovereign Islands and being a limited release, we do expect this project to attract plenty of interest.”
Rising three storeys across two pavilions, The Residences’ design capitalises on a 90-metre water frontage by capturing superb water views from every apartment while private marina berths of up to 70-feet cater for luxury cruisers.
Priced from $2,999,900 to $5,622,500, the four-bedroom apartments range in size from 300m2 to 739m2 and offer open-plan living spaces as well as quiet retreat zones.
“While the apartments are likely to appeal to downsizers, the floorplans are extremely generous and the choice of finishes is high end,” Mr Worthington said.
“The only thing you’re sacrificing here is the maintenance.”
Residents will also have access to their own private rooftop areas – ranging from 56m2 to 200m2 for the penthouses – where 360-degree views span Mount Tamborine to South Stradbroke Island and the Surfers Paradise skyline.
Ground floor apartments come with private plunge pools while all residents will have access to a large pool and landscaped gardens.
Queensland-based 5Point Projects has been named to build The Residences on Royal Albert with a June 2022 completion target.
