It didn’t take long for sales agent Gypsea Youngsmith to make a name for herself in the Gold Coast property market. Now, she joins the Kollosche team with an impressive track record of sales and a rollcall of loyal clients. 

Authentic and tenacious, Gypsea recognised two things about herself at an early age – her genuine passion for helping people and innate talent for sales.

Real estate was a natural progression for Gypsea, who started her career in retail as a teenager. She quickly progressed to a management position before transitioning into car sales.

These roles sharpened Gypsea’s sales skills and gave her a deeper understanding of the emotions that drive people’s buying decisions. 

Feeling she had hit a ceiling in car sales, she started to think about other industries that could benefit from her skills and landed on real estate.

“Whether it’s a car or a house, what you’re really selling is the emotional connection to that product and the lifestyle it will provide,” she says. 

“My husband and I were looking to buy a property around this time and we didn’t have a particularly good experience. It just showed a real gap in the market that I knew I could fill with my experience.”

And fill it she has. 

Despite only being in real estate for three years, her dedication and no-nonsense approach have earned her the trust and loyalty of clients, with several already returning to buy or sell with her multiple times.

Gypsea’s philosophy is simple – service buyers and sellers with equal dedication and integrity. 

“You have to make both sides happy, which is no small feat. Buyers need to trust that you won’t advise them to overpay, and sellers need to know that you will achieve the best possible outcome for their home,” Gypsea says.

“Helping people is my absolute favourite thing. Knowing that I have done a good job for a client just makes me feel so fulfilled, and I will always chase that feeling. If someone has an expectation, I will exceed it.”
